Meet The Trainer

Hi, my name is Stevie Klaven.

I discovered my passion for dog training in 2019, when I brought home my oldest dog, Archie, from a local rescue organization. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to learn from and work with other trainers from across the country.

Following apprenticeships under the Head Trainers of both The Homeschooled Pooch and A New Day Dog Training in Duluth, MN, I graduated from The Michael Ellis School For Dog Trainers in Santa Rosa, CA, where I studied under some of the top professionals in the industry. I’ve also completed a course on canine conditioning taught by Dr. Erica Boling of Northeast K9 Conditioning. 

Prior to beginning my career as a dog trainer, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility as a Team Lead and Trainer while I finished my Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Minor in Business Administration at the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
